The Eden Alternative is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to transforming care environments into habitats for human beings that promote quality of life and well-being for all. We provide training and training resources, educational tools, and consultation to nursing homes, assisted and independent living communities, home and community-based care, and other living environments that meet the needs of Elders, individuals living with cognitive and developmental challenges, and others in need of long-term support.
The Eden Alternative's principle-based philosophy empowers all care partners (employees, family members, volunteers, and the Elders themselves) to transform institutional approaches to care into caring communities where life is worth living.
